Dororon Enma-kun (1973) - Episode 15

King Enma himself finally appears, in this episode scripted by Masaki Tsuji. Thanks to Yogiri for helping with translation Q.C.

  4. Have you dropped Dororo? Just wanted to let you know that Viki.com doesn't have access to the Mushi Production shows, so it's still unlicensed.

  5. ever going to do some more gegege no kitaro? i'm dyin' for more! and also, god bless for the dororo, cutey honey, dororon enma kun, etc.... yr. the only guys out there who seem to care about making all these old masterpieces available to us unwashed heathens here in the west....thank you!!!

    1. You are welcome. Most of the shows I subtitle are things that I've desperately wanted to watch with English subtitles for decades, so it makes me happy that there are other people out there that enjoy watching these shows as well.

      I've had some GeGeGe no Kitaro and Cyborg 009 episodes nearly completed for several months now, but I'm getting some new translation Q.C. help from another group which has slowed the progress of those shows somewhat. I think these improved translations will be worth the wait when they finally appear.

  6. I just tried downloading episode 1 using the new download link, and then reseeding the torrent using that.

    Turns out it didn't work because the torrent and the direct download don't match. The direct download has a checksum of 71293A20 and the torrent has DE89FC84. Which one is correct?

  7. Out of curiosity, do you have the raws for all episodes of this show? If you do, what is holding you back from doing a full release? Do you have scripts already or do you have to do a full TL yourself before each release? I would love to see the whole series available, so if you would just need help with busy work (transcription, typing, timing, etc.) then I might be able to help out on that front. ^^ Sadly, my Japanese is too weak to handle doing a TL myself, but I'm pretty sure I could handle minor TLC work on a show like this.

      The fact that most of the episodes of this show just flat-out suck. The ones scripted my Masaki Tsuji (also the head writer on Cutey Honey & Devilman) are amazing, the rest of them not so much.

      I pay a freelance translator to work on each episode, and so I'm fairly choosy about which ones I'm going to pay to get translated.
